The Indiana Pacers' G League affiliate has officially rebranded as the Noblesville Boom, marking a new chapter in professional basketball for Hamilton County. This change honors the legacy of legendary Pacers coach and broadcaster Bobby "Slick" Leonard, whose iconic exclamation "Boom, baby!" celebrated the team's most thrilling moments.
The Boom will debut in the 2025–26 season at the newly constructed Arena at Innovation Mile, a state-of-the-art, 3,400-seat facility in Noblesville. This arena is the first ever built specifically for an NBA G League team, underscoring the city's commitment to fostering basketball excellence. The team's branding features a dynamic color scheme of navy, gold, and vibrant cyan, reflecting both the Pacers' heritage and the energetic spirit of Noblesville. Fans can look forward to an electrifying game-day experience, with season ticket deposits now available.
